Nevada RV Rentals

Nevada RV Rentals will supply you with all the rental options you will need to see, travel and explore Nevada. There is something for everyone and GetRV.com wants to make sure you enjoy your travels in this beautiful state. The first city that comes to mind is Las Vegas, the “Entertainment Capital of the World”. Here’s a place that thrives on the biggest, brightest, tallest, and longest hotels in the world. This city never sleeps and has enough entertainment, shopping, special events, and dining to fill one’s entire vacation itinerary. The famous Las Vegas Strip is lined with amazing sidewalk laser light shows, exploding volcanoes, and resorts that capture the essence of Egypt, Rome, New York, Monte Carlo, Paris, and more… Walk into any of the 24-hour casinos and try your luck, or dine in any of the gourmet restaurants operated by world famous chefs. A shopper’s delight, Las Vegas offers fantastic mega-malls, unique boutiques, upscale stores, and outlet malls offering fine jewelry, clothing, and more. There are even RV Parks right in the city. Use our RV Parks Tab to review some of them. Unleash the kid inside and have a blast at the various theme parks. Ride The Desperado, one of the tallest roller coasters in the world. For recreation you can choose from a multitude of activities such as golf, boating, hiking, biking, rock climbing, car racing and even snow skiing. Then take a break from all the manmade spectacles, and experience the amazing landmarks left by nature, itself. The Las Vegas Territory has diverse mountain and desert landscapes that will amaze anyone. The magnificent Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, just 20 miles west of downtown Las Vegas, invites hikers, bikers, and rock climbers. Make sure to spend some time at the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, where you’ll find developed beaches, marinas, campgrounds, and more. Rent a boat and jet ski and zoom along the largest man-made lake in the Western Hemisphere. If traveling near Boulder City, be sure to stop and see the Hoover Dam, one of the seven manmade wonders of the world. Responsible for creating Lake Mead, this 726-foot-high concrete structure is part of a system that generates electricity. Nevada is home to prehistoric people who left behind them clues about their lives through their mysterious rock carvings (petroglyphs). At various locations along U.S. Hwy. 50, you’ll see some of the state’s best petroglyphs. You can still visit the descendents of the state’s original settlers and their ancestral lands in various portions of the state. Pyramid Lake, north of Reno, State Rt. 445, is located within the boundaries of the Northern Paiute Indian reservation and has been designated a National Scenic Byway. Here you can take part in some great fishing and visit the museum offering information about its native people. Thousands of years before these ancestral tribes were a group of people known as the “Anasazi” meaning “ancient ones”. They constructed elaborate adobe villages along the Muddy and Virgin rivers. The Lost City Museum in Overton (northeast of Las Vegas) houses Anasazi artifacts along with adobe reconstructions and pit houses used by the prehistoric tribes. If you want to know more, then visit the Nevada State Museum in Carson City exhibiting extensive collections of native Nevadan artifacts as well as dioramas of the daily life before the white settlers. Experience peace and solitude within the territory of The Pony Express. Along the center of Nevada, on Hwy. 50, you’ll drive through only a handful of small towns while the rest of the road may leave motorists feeling isolated. Many tourists, however, find tranquility in this untrampled natural wonder accented by mining towns that still retain their original appearance of a century ago. Make sure to stop at Great Basin National Park along the way. It is home of the giant, ancient bristlecone pines that thrive only in elevations above 10,000 feet and live to reach 4,000 years old. Enjoy hiking along its trails leading you to fabulous mountain-top vistas. Then just northwest of the park is Ely, an old copper mining town. Don’t miss the opportunity to ride on “The Ghost Train of Old Ely”. Tourists can act as engineers and actually drive a steam or diesel locomotive on the 14-mile trip into the narrow mountain canyon. Also be sure to stop at Sand Mountain to sift sand through your feet as you walk along this unique two-mile-long, 600-foot-high sand dune. Nevada awaits you with a multitude of things to see and do. From Cowboy Country to visiting old mining towns to seeing spectacular, outdoor, natural splendor to bright neon signs, this state has it all. So, Nevada is not all big casinos and hotels, you can also find some great RV Rental through GetRV.com. If you want quality family travel, book your RV Rental today.
